Meg Hanley | APRN FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner, functional and integrative medicine provider, experienced in oncology, wife, mom, and follower of Christ.
Being Called at A Young Age
Meg realized her passion for helping others while attending high school in California. She became a certified nurse assistant prior to graduating high school and served this patient population for several years. She then worked in Pathology for several years, completed her first degree in Health Science, learning the pathological functions of the human body before completing her nursing degree. After obtaining her Associate Degree in Nursing as Valedictorian of her graduating class, she worked in the Emergency Department for 10 years.
After a personal cancer diagnosis, she was led to pursue her master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner. She worked in Conventional Oncology while attending school and noticed a system that was not supporting the natural function of the human body to heal itself. Upon completion of her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2020, she began studying functional medicine and applying it to practice in Primary/Urgent care.

Her Journey to Whole Health
Meg felt a powerful desire to leave California in search of a better life for her family. Traveling around the country in an RV, God called her to visit friends in Houston. At the same time, God presented a job opportunity at Whole Health that not only allowed her to practice functional medicine but to focus on cancer prevention and supporting the body’s natural ability to control cancer.
Her Philosophy and Areas of Expertise
Meg believes in treating the whole person, not a tumor or tumor type. As a cancer pattern is specific to each person, Meg believes in identifying root causes to support everyone. Only by cleaning up the environment that led to a pattern of cancer, the body can effectively control cancer. She believes that true healing lies in the teachings of Christ and the heart of every patient.
