Sad PROOF how desperately we need studies

<< She died 7 weeks after diagnosis. >> (From an email sent to a list I am on. Another advocate complained that a woman was using colonic therapy and on substance I cannot recall. This was Ann Fonfa's emailed response on 3/6/02)

"Without in ANY way supporting the supposed 'therapy' you say she did instead of conventional, do you really think a woman who died just 7 weeks after diagnosis, would have lived way longer with chemo? BTW if those therapies were presented to her as a 'cure', it is just more proof that we desparately need trials so that people know things that may work as distinguished from tranquilizers.

Sounds like a late stage diagnosis to me.

Just wondering.
