Dr. Douwes from St George spoke at the conference. His results were quite impressive. He showed slides of patients, their cat scans, etc. We watched the tumors shrink before our very eyes! There was limited time for each speaker so he concentrated on showing patients who had received hyperthermia treatments and It would appear that he is the pioneer in this area. He said the results have been so successful that Germany’s socialized medicine has included his treatments as acceptable for coverage. My only disappointment was that we were not able to tour his hospital in Germany along with the Tijuana clinics. Ann's NOTE: This is a cancer patient's take on Douwes talk. More to come.
