Rainbow Circle and Outreach to the Lesbian Community Since barriers to health care can prevent members of lesbian communities from accessing the care they need, the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation has created an outreach program directed to gay women. Well-trained volunteers present breast health information and address concerns in a comfortable, sensitive and understanding environment. The programs are led by an Advisory Task Force comprised of community professionals who provide direction for the program. Our mission is to encourage and enable women to enter the health care system earlier to improve the possibility of early detection in the hope of saving lives.
