The National Cancer Institute is sponsoring a nationwide study to help identify genes that may contribute to the development of kidney cancer. The study is recruiting members of the Ashkenazi Jewish community who have two or more family members who have kidney cancer. This study, as well as others, will help scientists answer questions about kidney cancer and try to find better ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat the disease.
