Terri Cranmer
This story is about me & I can not tell you how pleased I am that it was published. I think RFA is a wonderful surgery for cancer & only hope more people become aware of it. I learned about it from an article in a Florida newspaper, my brother faxed it to me. I never would have heard about it if his local newspaper had not printed a story. I feel it may help a lot of people & hope more people become aware that it exists.
I hope in the future it becomes a common procedure, performed with the intitial biopsy when a malignant tumor is found. It may save lives & surely will bring peace of mind if you know the first tumor was zapped with RFA immediately. Thanks again. Terri Cranmer

Terri is a friend of mine and seems to be doing wonderful. I have never seen a person treated for Cancer look or act so well. RFA should be a treatment protocol (if applicable)available to all Cancer patients.
Doctors should give patients the option of their type of treatment plan and tell them all the pros and cons of each type of treatment. RFA has given Terri quality of life during her recooperation and hope for the future.

I know Terri Cranmer personally. This is a wonderful story about a wonderful person, a person who, through her "positivity" about life, is able to prolong her life. She makes me want to help myself the way she helped herself by saying "no" to what she feels is not the best way to go.
Yes, the RFA is what helped her, but she also did it much by herself. Good story!

This story is based on the RFA treatment my mom received and her results. This treatment has given our family hope that my mom will be able to see her grandkids grow up.
My mom found out about RFA through a newspaper article so I hope this article can help someone else with cancer.

I too, have non small cell lung cancer and have experienced no painful symptons except a couple of lumps in my leg that turned out to be secondaries. Having them removed and a ct scan, pet scan later I have a small spot in my left arm.
I am currently undergoing chemo which is not posing any side effects at all, but I am interested in other alternatives. My doctor does not seem to like to propose other alternatives for me to try so I guess I have to investigate possibilities for myself.
I continue to smoke as the stress of quitting is immense, although I have cut down dramatically. Quit-Smoking Patches were an alternative, but have been in the news lately for causing cancer or more tumors so they are out of the question at the moment.
I am trying to be positive, but it is so hard. I commend you for your attitude. I admire you immensely. You show that there is life after cancer. I am impressed. Wishing you the best in health in the future. Eveline Arber
