Dr. Stowe is one of the leading researchers on Cancer in the U.S, as well as work with immune system disorders and is also recognized for his work abroad.
Dr. Stowe is a whole body physician . He is working with physicians around the country introducing new therapies available in treating Cancer as well as many other Immune System disorders with incredible results, he would like to share these ideas.

Lawrence R. Stowe,Ph.D.
Dr. Stowe is the managing director of Applied Biological Medicine and a founding member of the non-profit medical foundation, Survive Until A Cure. In recent years, Dr. Stowe has lectured internationally on the therapies developed under his supervision. Key components of the therapies are now under active phase II investigations approved by the FDA. Early in his career,
Dr. Stowe was a Senior Research Engineer for Mobil Oil. He is also a technology partner with Los Almos National Laboratory and has been an invited speaker at the White House Symposium on the Development of Enviromental Technology.
Dr. Stowe obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1982 and received a Masters degree in both Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering formIowa State University in 1978. He graduated from Iowa State University with a B. S C degree in Chemical Engineering in 1975. During his academic years Dr. Stowe received a variety of honors including being named a guest lecturer by the University of Illinois during his final year of graduate study.
Starting in 1989, Dr. Stowe has written numerous articles and white papers on novel medical approaches to the treatment of cancer and viral infections. Among these are:
The role of Essential Fatty Acids in the Treatment of Viral Infections
Historical and Current Applications of Whole Body Hyperthermia
A Method to Strengthen the Immune System and Enhance Survival Rates Stage D Prostate Cancer.
Dr. Stowe’s immune therapy concepts were first applied in a controlled clinical trial with 30 AIDS patients in 1989. This landmark study was published in 1990 by Terry Pulse, M.D. in the Journal of Advancement in Medicine Volume 3, Number 4.
The clinical trial clearly demonstrated that adevastated immune system could be rebuilt and functionally restored using herbs, nutritional supplements and biologic response modifiers. Dr. Stowe has continued to develop this holistic concept into the field known as nutritional bio-therapy. Immune therapy has evolved into one of the cornerstones of an emerging science known as Natural Biologic Medicine can provide a pathway to treating the previously incurable diseases.
Dr. Stowe continues to advance the science of immune therapy through his work on Whole Body Hyperthermia. Dr. Stowe has been involved in the development of WBH since 1989. Essentially WBH is the induction of a large artificial fever. Large fevers are known to be tumorcidal and anti-viral. By raising the core body temperature to 108 F, WBH is able to trigger an aggressive immune response toboth cancer and AIDS. Dr. Stowe has lectured at numerous conferences on the outstanding results that have been obtained in the treatment of these intractable conditions.
To date, immune therapy has been proven effective in achieving complete remission in approximately 33% of the stage IV cancer cases treated with WBH and biological response modifiers. This is compared to 2% of the cases that remit with conventional care. AIDS patients also show remarkable response rates with most patients achieving zero viral load in just two treatments. When WBH is combined with Natural Biologic Medicine, it appears that AIDS can be controlled by the immune system much like insulin controls diabetes. Research efforts are being directed toward improving the results so that the disease can be totally eradicated.
Since 1995 Dr. Stowe has been involved in the therapeutic application of cytokine therapy. Cytokines are the body’s natural biological weapons against malignment cells and invading organisms.Cytokines can be stimulated through the natural biologic medicinal grade mushrooms. It is also possible to harvest the endogenous cytokines from a patient’s blood and then create a serum that has been significantly enhanced with duplicates of the patient’s own cytokines. By infusing the serum back into the bloodstream, the bodys immune system can be activated to trigger a healing response. Cytokine therapy combined with WBH and biologic response modifiers is pointing the way to a non-toxic therapy for metasticized cancer.
Dr. Stowe has personal experience in dealing with cancer. In 1959 at the age of six he was diagnosed and treated for osteosarcoma (bone cancer). The disease was considered fatal at the time and is still considered terminal today. For reasons that are only now becoming apparent, the cancer went into what is termed a spontaneous remission. Dr. Stowe’s current research is guided by the belief that the conditions that caused his cancer to remit can be duplicated in other cancer patients.
