Comments from Anutosh (patient in 2001)

Hi Liz

So sad about Robyn.

I wanted to share my experience of my stay at Klinik St. Georg for 3 weeks in Jan, 2001. For me it was the right clinic and I experience Dr. Douwes to be a very compassionate and knowledgable man.

I had been to 2 other clinics, one in Munich and another in Denmark prior to Klinik St. Georg and actually found it to be less expensive than the other 2 which had a flat fee but offered less in the form of treatments then St. Georg.

By the time I got to St. Georg, I had already received galvano therapy for the tumour on the breast from the clinic in Denmark. Dr. Douwes checked me and also did an ultrasound and told me that it is only scar tissue remaining and I can go home after a week of local hyperthermia and infusions and I insisted that I want to stay for 3 weeks and receive the WBH.

He told me I could save my money and go home and he could do a biopsy to make sure. I refused the biopsy and opted to stay. This surprised me cos the other places wanted me to stay longer! So, I know from my own personal experience that it is not just about money for him....I feel his sincerity and dedication.

He is still my favourite Doctor and I am not an easy one to please. The only thing I did not like about the clinic was the food.

Dr. Douwes was correct about the scar tissue as upon my return back to America, had an MRI done and it confirmed his findings. Happy to say that my MRI of just 3 days ago confirmed that all is well with me. Much gratefullness for sure***

My heart reaches out to Robyn's family and especially to the kids. I pray this get resolved quickly and peace be found for all concern.

With love & peace Anutosh
