I attended the Annie Appleseed Project conference on January 9th, 2008. The conference on a whole was well organized, the sessions consisting of a variety of speakers was well selected, however, I would like to offer a suggestion requesting Registered Nurses added to the list of speakers, since nurses are confronted with Cancer patients on a regular basis, offering TLC, diminishing fears, offering hope, before they actually see a Doctor.

The speakers diversified, educated the audience about the tough challenges and health issues Cancer patients are confronted with from the onset of the dreadful news.

However, there is hope, "alternative medicine" is readily available to us. I was extremely impressed with Dr. George Wong,Ph.D, Michael B Schachter MD, (Michael Horwin M.A, personal touch) and Madhavi Kasam BHMS,CCH, presentations.

The knowledge acquired from the various lectures empowers me to educate others concentrating on diet, exercise, alternative medicine, and proper selection of foods, which would add to our longevity.

I left the conference excited, eagerly awaiting my arrival back to N.Y, where I started sharing the good news of Alternative Medicine, with the various Centers of which I'm affiliated, including Downstate University Medical Center-Bklyn.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to attend your first conference.
