NATIONAL: Senior Citizens Turning to Cannabis
In January, the 35-million-member AARP released survey results showing that nearly three fourths of America's senior citizens support legal access to medical marijuana.
An extensive article from the Los Angeles Times details why. Cannabis is well suited to treating many of the medical conditions associated with aging, from arthritis to Alzheimer's, and does not present the side effect problems of conventional medications, particularly in combination.
