** We convened a panel on insurance issues - we want to push for full insurance coverage for CAM and Integrative therapies. Otherwise they are not accessible to everyone. Compared to conventional therapies, most CAM is quite inexpensive UNLESS it all comes out of your own pocket.

What is the point of insurance for many of us when it doesn't cover our healthcare needs? Let's start doing something about it.

Ann Fonfa, founder the Annie Appleseed Project

Insurance Panel participants: Molly McDonald The Pink Fund, Alex Lopera The Importance of Establishing A Reimbursement Program, American Medical Health (Houston-TX-based company) and William Svob, who discussed some strategies.

Special Conference Event: Juice Bar - a way to delight the taste buds, enjoy fresh ORGANIC fruits and vegetables, receive a HUGE amount of nutrients, start a detox... The ORGANIC produce for all our juices was donated by Sunshine Farms of Martin County, FL.
