2007 Frontiers in Cancer Prevention Research

This year's meeting was different because the AACR Scientist Survivor Program was part of the program.

This meant that 30 or so advocates were present at the meeting, asking questions, meeting with science mentors and generally making their presence felt.

I was granted a travel scholarship to help attend the meeting. I registered as 'advocate press' as in prior years. Thus I attended a variety of press conferences. It was very gratifying that most of the discussions/presentations at the press conferences were about natural therapies and approaches.
